Baklava consists of many layers of filo dough, seperated with melted butter and vegetable oil. There is a layer of chopped nuts such as pistachios, hazelnuts, walnuts, or pecans are used and placed in the middlel section of the layers. So in this fashion, you’d have top layers of filo dough, middle section of nuts layer, and bottom layer of filo dough. This is prepared in large baking pans and cooked baked in the oven at proper tempariture.
